While Sandy and I grow old gracefully, our 4 boys and 8 grandkids are in their prime.

After retiring from the military in 1984 with 30 years of service, I put Sandy to work in the Washoe County School District, where she instructs mentally handicapped children. Now, she's about to retire.

Sandy graduated from Reno High School in '56, which is a long, long story in itself.

Besides golf, handball, UNR track & field, world travel, Class of '53 reunion planning and computers, there's not much to do.

I am looking forward to our Golden 50th Reunion. Sandy will not attend, but that's another long story in itself.

Planning is well underway, and I hope to see you all in 2003. Bill
