Wildcat Reunion 2002
Saturday night at Sam's Town from 5pm until ??? (it was after 10 when we left and going strong)
As people arrived they clustered to tables of 10 mostly by class year. Drinks and chit chat until 6:30pm when we enjoyed a very ample buffet dinner with as many courses and helpings as you wanted. The buffet included two-sided tables on each side of the Sam's Town Live ballroom each with two carving stations with hot turkey, ham, beef, etc.
Dick Bryan made a presentation of the placement of cabinets holding all of our LVHS trophies in the new Las Vegas High School. The new high school is located at the east end of Sahara Avenue at Hollywood Ave. near Sunrise Mountain.
George Gilbert talked about the restoration of the senior squares which now has both private and state funding.
Other people made presentations about other things but I was busy talking and have forgotten what they were about except that there were attendees from classes as old as 1935 and 4 men were there from the undefeated and unscored upon football team of 1945.
